Indianapolis vet diagnoses, treats rare dog illness

Rebecca Lee thought her daughter's 1-year-old dog was in dire straits when she brought him to the veterinary clinic.
"The dog was in such bad condition that he could not walk and we had to bring him in on a plywood stretcher," Lee says. "He had a rare illness, but within 36 hours, he was on the mend, thanks to Dr. Chuck Hurd and Dr. John Klarquist. Now he is 100 percent, up and running as if nothing happened."
