"Professional Colors Painting was supposed to paint our house trim for $1,700, of which we paid them $170 as a down payment. After we signed the contract, we didn't hear anything from them.

"We called the company and they gave us the runaround on getting a refund. Since then, nobody from the company has been in touch with us. We consider the contract moot."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "We want our $170 back."
