Incorrect shelving prompts Philadelphia furniture store complaint

COMPLAINT: Nicole Jenkins, Upper Darby, Pa.

"IKEA sold me the wrong shelves for the wardrobe I purchased. The salesperson who helped me printed out a list of the items I needed to buy, but she didn't select the correct size of shelving for the wardrobe.

"I didn't find out until I had someone to help me put the wardrobe together. I went to IKEA and was told that the store wouldn't be correcting the error because I didn't catch it in their allotted return period.

"I think that if the company still sells the items in question, and it does, it should correct their employee's error."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want IKEA to allow me to return the shelves improperly sold to me in exchange for the proper shelving with whatever price adjustment is fair."

STATUS: Penalty Box
