COMPLAINT: Marichu Salvacion, Houston
"I called Northern Air Heating & Cooling for a $79.99 diagnostic. I paid up front. The tech came out and diagnosed the issue as promised.
"A few days later I ended up with an invoice for $211.95, which was charged to my credit card and not authorized. I've made several attempts to contact the company to let them know this was a mistake. I have not had any response."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like a $131.96 refund."
RESPONSE: Aaron Cari, general manager and vice president, Northern Air Heating & Cooling
"There is nothing to say except that there was a communication error on our part. We were only to charge the customer the service fee of $79.95.
"When the customer's real estate representative contacted us, I responded right away and re-sent the e-mail a week later as proof that we were going to take care of this oversight right away.
"We apologize for any inconvenience the customer has encountered."
STATUS: Resolved
