Homeowner unhappy with quality of asphalt paving
COMPLAINT: Vince Goulding, Stafford, Va.
"Mitchell Asphalt Paving in Stafford paved my driveway poorly. I paid to have 4 inches of asphalt but I didn't get it, and the asphalt mix was poor quality and discolored. Even after they sealcoated it, there were cracks throughout the asphalt. I called several times and they gave me numerous assurances it would be repaired within the warranty, but they were no-shows on several occasions or did shoddy repairs when they did come."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want them to install 4 inches of asphalt and repair the cracks properly."
STATUS: Penalty Box
Editor's note: Mitchell told Angie's List he would repair the cracking issue. To date, Goulding hasn't received the promised repairs.
