Homeowner says JC Sod & Plant delivers sod and fire ants
COMPLAINT: Rosendo Castillo, Weeki Wachee
I purchased sod from JC Sod & Plant of Hudson. They delivered it late, and it was full of fire ants. My girlfriend and I were repeatedly stung while trying to lay the sod. My girlfriend has more than 30 pustules from fire ant stings. When we complained about it the next day, they said they have no control over the ants, because the sod is made with cow manure. I have purchased sod for another home in another county, and it did not contain fire ants. They should let customers know the sod may contain fire ants.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I would like a partial refund.
