Homeowner commends Chicago architect for creative solutions

Karen Haring hired Johnson Architecture Inc. of Chicago to redesign an old Victorian home.

“Overall, this was a very rewarding experience,” Haring says. “We got exactly what we wanted and then some. Terri [Johnson the owner] was always open to suggestions and was very available whenever questions or issues arose. She got all of the drawings done and got them through the permit and landmarks process, and even though she is a sole practitioner, she provides all of the services that any of the ‘big guys’ would provide. In fact, we plan to employ her talents again soon on a smaller bath project.”
