Homeowner claims missing deck coat causes flooding
COMPLAINT: Gene Colgan, Houston
"I hired Custom Pool And Spa Concepts of Richmond [Texas] to install a swimming pool and spa. They took their final payment and promised to return to install the electric light floating in the center of my pool, but I ended up installing the light myself.
"They also promised they'd bring back a crew to properly apply the deck cooling coat and that still hasn't happened. In addition, the tile grouting is disintegrating and my garage has flooded in every major rain since the installation. I shouldn't have paid them until I was completely satisfied."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like them to power-wash the surface and apply the deck cooling material."
