Homeowner alleges shoddy concrete pour
COMPLAINT: Jacquelyn Aspito, Itasca, Ill.
“I hired Dependable Concrete of Addison, Ill., to pour a concrete pool area and sidewalks. The salesperson pressured me to pay upfront and didn't want to take my credit card because it would cost him, despite the estimate that stated they would accept credit cards. They did messy work, broke a sewer pipe and tore up the lawn. The concrete has many cracks. They installed a drain and diverter that turned out to be useless. When I complained, they told me they did nothing wrong.”
DESIRED RESOLUTION: “I want a $3,275 refund and for them to pay to get the faulty work repaired.”
