Homeowner accuses Columbus concrete company of faulty work
COMPLAINT: Carrie Rosen, Columbus, Ohio
"William's Cement Contractors Inc. tore out and replaced my driveway. Edward Williams [owner] said it was guaranteed for a year. Nine months later, I noticed it was deteriorating.
"After a certified letter, he came right away and said he would fix it. However, he has not been back, and there has been no work since then. His phone number is no longer taking calls."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want Edward Williams to tear out the part of my driveway that's deteriorating and replace the concrete or refund two-thirds of the money I paid him so I can hire another contractor to make it right."
