I hired Rightway Blacktop Paving to take care of a problem with settling at the top of my driveway toward the garage.

The owner was punctual and gave a reasonable estimate. He said that the proper way to repair the problem was to add 1 to 2 inches of asphalt to the entire driveway.

He provided a written two-year guarantee and told me the job should last 20 years. The work was done, and the driveway looked good.

Months later I noticed the asphalt was chipping toward the street apron. After I made several calls over several months, the owner got back to me and we arranged to meet on a Wednesday. He never showed up. I set up a second meeting, and again, no show.

DESIRED RESOLUTION: I want them to repair the defects. In addition, resealing the entire driveway at no charge, as a gesture of good faith, would be nice.
