Robert's Roofing
Didn't respond to Patrick Keany's complaint addressing what he says was an unsatisfactory roofing job . First month in the box.
COMPLAINT: Patrick Keany, Ft. Worth
"Robert's Roofing put a new roof on my house. They didn't put on the shingles that were specified in the contract - they were even the wrong color.
When they put the drip-edge on they stripped the fascia's textured paint off. It could be repainted, but the pattern in the texture can never be repaired - it would have to be replaced throughout the entire house.
They admitted the mistake and offered to redo it, but I don't want the additional nails in my decking. That could be more costly in the future when the next shingle job needs to be done due to the frequent hail storms in this area.
Also, any additional nails are potential [areas] for leaks. When I spoke with the manager about the problems, he hung up on me and no one from Robert's Roofing has returned any of my calls."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I feel an apology isn't sufficient and I don't want my shingles redone by Roberts Roofing. I feel I should receive at least a 10-percent discount on the bill for the problems, negligence and service received."
