Driveway sealer allegedly quick to sell, not to service
COMPLAINT: Sue and Stuart Koble, Columbus, Ohio
"When Damron's Paving Service of Grove City, Ohio, finished sealing my driveway, it didn't match what was previously done. My original quote was for $500, but they up-sold the project, telling me they would apply crack filler. They didn't apply a pre-crack filler coat as promised but still charged me an extra $130 for it. One of the workers walked on my walkway, which left black footprints on the concrete.
"They cashed my check without finishing the job and it will cost me at least the same amount I've already paid them to fix it properly. The owner, Larry Damron, said he would make it right, but six weeks later, his crew still hadn't returned. I was ripped off."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a full refund so I can purchase the driveway coating and crack filler myself."
