Driveway seal paves over tensions
COMPLAINT: Ken and Tracy McHone, Blacklick, Ohio
"We called Breck's Paving in Columbus, Ohio, for a quote to reseal our asphalt driveway with two coats at $75. It appeared the first coat was super thin, and wear spots appeared within 72 hours. We asked them about getting a second coat sprayed on instead of brushed on to eliminate broom marks. However, their minimum job costs $75, and they do not offer a spray service for residential jobs."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "Since they quoted us $75 for two coats but we received only one, we'd be satisfied paying $40."
STATUS: Resolved
Editor's note: The McHones informed Angie's List that Breck's returned and added a second coat of sealant free of charge, which resolved the issue to their satisfaction.
