COMPLAINT: Elaine Sanders, Norwalk, Conn.
"Nado & Sons Paving Co. removed my old driveway and repaved it with new asphalt. As I approach the one-year mark of completion, I've noticed a few cracks developing.
I left numerous messages detailing my problem and haven't received a call back."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want them to honor the one-year warranty and replace my driveway or refund my money."
RESPONSE: Walter Nado, president, Nado & Sons Paving Co.
"We installed and compacted the asphalt correctly. This driveway has been seal coated over since she had it newly installed, therefore the driveway itself is not visible.
"Why would you seal coat the driveway and cover it when you're trying to show there are cracks in it? Sounds fishy to me."
STATUS: Stalemate
