Drain pipe installation anything but fluid in Philadelphia

COMPLAINT: Barbara McDougall, Cinnaminson, N.J.

"I hired Rightway Waterproofing Co. to put in French drains. They were supposed to level the concrete so that we could have the floor installed, but they left pieces of old tile sticking up and they didn't relevel the floor. They were very sloppy.

"It was stated in our agreement that they were supposed to paint and scrape four walls; however, their agreement only said three. They used my stainless steel dog bath to wash their brushes and the paint won't come out. They slopped paint on my water heater, my floor and on the bottom of my things.

"We had to get them to come back to paint behind the furnace. They didn't put our stones back and now our dirt has washed away. They did come back twice, but they didn't do what we asked.

"My husband offered to provide the labor to put leveler compound on our floor if Rightway would provide the $200 to offset our cost for this, but they declined.

"They said they wouldn't come again or do anything for us. We were promised the world, but didn't receive it. We would not hire them again."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like $400 for material needed to make the new concrete level with the existing tile surface and compensation for cleaning all the dust."

STATUS: Resolved
