Dog on squirrel patrol bound by invisible fence
Company: Invisible Fence of Chicagoland
Location: Lisle, Ill.

"I was initially apprehensive about installing an 'electric' invisible fence for my 25-pound mixed-breed rescue dog, Zoe," says Amy Smith of Wilmette, Ill.
"She's shy and timid, unless she's chasing squirrels, but the salesperson thoroughly explained how the different levels of correction work are customized to each dog, and this really put my mind at ease. I purchased several training sessions, and the trainer knew how to handle my scared little dog.
"It was completely painless for her, which was one of my primary concerns. It took patience and experience to get her to learn the rules of the invisible boundary, but now she's running around the yard like a maniac on squirrel patrol and doesn't run through the invisible fence.
"On days when the squirrels are harassing some other dog, she'll sit in the sun and take a nap. It's one of the best investments I've ever made for myself and my dog."
