Description of work "They examined and evaluated a large gash on my cat's side, did surgery and gave her about 50 stitches. For my dog, they did blood work and evaluated a bladder problem."
Member comments "When my cat got hurt, the staff worked over the phone to give first aid so I could hold off coming in until the next day to avoid an ER charge. The vet was extremely gentle and sat on the floor for part of the exam so the cat wouldn't have any additional anxiety. I see another vet for my dog's care, and she always speaks compassionately. Alameda East has proven to be ethical and competent. Despite the 'glam factor' of these vets having been on television, everyone is down-to-earth, and the cost of services is right in line with other practices."
