COMPLAINT: Jennifer Biekert, Littleton, Colo.
"I sent my Chanel sunglasses to B & B Optical to repair a broken temple. I called to make sure my sunglasses had been received, and was told by Gary my sunglasses were in their possession.
"I called back frequently, as I was told they were looking for an aftermarket replacement part.
"Months went by, and I became increasingly uncomfortable. I asked the shop to please return my sunglasses. My phone calls were not returned.
"I eventually got through and Gary told me he was unable to locate my sunglasses. I visited the shop, and it became clear why they couldn't find my glasses.
"The shop appears very unorganized, with hundreds of frames tangled in huge bins. Gary asked me to choose another frame from the shop, but they were used, older styles.
"I simply wanted my sunglasses back. Gary told me he didn't know if B & B ever received my sunglasses."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like B & B to provide a $240 refund to cover the value of the lost sunglasses."
