"I hired Robert Deresz Jr. of Arizona Same Day Service in Goodyear [Ariz.] to complete several extensive home remodeling projects, including a kitchen remodel, closet renovation, electrical work and pool service.

"None of these projects were ever completed satisfactorily. The job was originally to be done in three-and-a-half weeks, which was then extended to five weeks. After all deadlines were missed, Deresz promised in writing to complete the work at the four-month mark.

"The kitchen has been non-functional since the work began. I have no running water, no sink, no countertops, and an unfinished wall and window. Deresz removed the cabinet doors to be refinished, but that was never done. He still possesses four of the doors.

"He uses countless stalling tactics to delay this project. The last time we spoke, he told me he doesn't have the funds to finish the project and doesn't even feel comfortable setting a completion date. I've paid him $3,785, and he's only submitted invoices for $2,500.

"He won't let me speak to the "owner" of the company or any of his suppliers. I just want my money back so I can fix my kitchen."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a full refund of $3,785."
