COMPLAINT: Anna Gasiorski, Grove City, Ohio

"Elite Moving and Storage moved my husband and I from our two-bedroom apartment in downtown Columbus to our new house in Grove City.

"After showing up an hour and a half late, the movers used the metal dolly on our wood floor in the apartment and made significant scratches in three different areas.

"After we pointed out the damage, they said they would report it and have an insurance adjuster come out, but we didn't hear from one and had to be out of our apartment.

"So, we had the super in our building fix the boards and he charged us $900. I submitted photos of the damage and our claim to Elite Moving & Storage as I was told, but I never received confirmation.

"I have been e-mailing the manager, Cory Short, and leaving him voicemail messages. He has never responded to me. One of the customer service representatives said there was nothing they could do for us, since we didn't note the damage on our contract or have their insurance adjuster look at the damage.

"In addition, the move was estimated to take only four and a half hours, but we didn't receive all of our belongings in our house until 30 hours after the move started."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like partial reimbursement of $500 for the cost of repairing the wood floorboards."

Never responded to Paul Tela's request for a refund of the $300 deposit he paid them for exterior stucco repairs.

Elite Moving and Storage
Didn't respond to Anna Gasiorski's request for a partial refund of $500 toward floorboard repairs she says were necessary due to scratches they caused during her move.

Peterson Home Improvement LLC
Failed to respond to Brian Bahnsen's request for a refund of excess funds he paid them, as well as a settlement for the repair work he has had to pursue because of what he believes is shoddy work on their part on his two bathroom remodeling jobs.
