Customer claims windows won't work properly
COMPLAINT: Marjorie Stanfield, Midlothian, Texas
"Clear Choice USA of Dallas replaced my home's windows, but there are problems. One window doesn't lock, two are difficult to raise and lower, and several screens don't fit properly. I called them the next day and they came immediately to see what was wrong. They said they'd get someone over to fix everything. I called several times before someone finally came about three weeks later. The guy couldn't fix everything and said he'd be back in two to three weeks.
"That was six weeks ago. I spoke with the company the day after the repairman came and they said they'd have a rep from the window manufacturer contact me. I've since left messages with the company multiple times over six weeks and I've received no response. I contacted Clear Choice's national headquarters and I haven't received a response from them either. I just want my nearly $5,000 worth of windows to work properly! I am supposed to have an all-inclusive lifetime warranty, but if no one will return my calls, it's not worth the paper it is written on."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want the issues resolved."
