COMPLAINT: Leslie Newing, Fairfield, Conn.

"I hired Marc J. Kuczo Heating and Plumbing in Shelton (Conn.) to put in a new faucet in the upstairs guest bathroom's sink. After a period of time, it leaked and the ceiling filled up with water and cracked, causing water to pour in.

"I called him and he came and got the water out of the ceiling, and said he would be back to repair the ceiling. He has never returned.

"It was a mess. I called him a few times, but he kept avoiding me, and he finally stopped answering my calls. I found someone else to fix and repaint the ceiling, and I had to pay him $1,200."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I feel he owes me the cost to repair the ceiling. I want Marc J. Kuczo to reimburse me $1,200 I had to pay someone else to repair and paint it."
