Customer claims hardwood floor needs refinished
COMPLAINT: Jennifer Huntzicker, Venice, Calif.
"I purchased natural maple hardwood flooring from Hernandez Wholesale Flooring in Commerce, Calif. It was beautiful after it was installed, but a few months later I noticed it was taking on an unacceptable reddish hue.
I reported this to Hernandez and they sent out an inspector to evaluate the floor. The report came back that the floor was developing a patina, which is expected. I was told by another hardwood flooring installer that the type of finish they used on my floor is what caused it to change color."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I want the floor to be refinished correctly, or I want the flooring to be totally replaced."
