Customer claims company showed 'disregard' for home
COMPLAINT: David and Janet Buchwalter, New Port Richey, Fla.
"We hired Quality Ceiling Refinishing Inc. of Clearwater [Fla.] to repair a sink hole in our ceiling. They showed total disregard for our house. They left paint and paint dust everywhere, didn't put down a drop cloth when working on the closet wall, and took off a door but never put it back up. There's ceiling popcorn all over the place.
"They dented the couch by pushing it against something, stood on our new mattress and damaged it, and broke a lamp. We purchased the new mattress for chronic back problems, and the warranty information indicates it shouldn't be stood upon."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "We would like $896.72 to cover the cost of the damaged lamp and a replacement mattress."
STATUS: Resolved
