Company resolves fencing issue

COMPLAINT: Pat Steadman, San Jose
"Duran Fencing Systems Inc. was to replace fencing across the middle of my backyard. They also put new screws in the alley gate hinge for no extra charge. When they finished the job, they pointed out the crowning of cement around the posts, which is why I had chosen Duran. Later, I noticed from my back window that a post hadn't been crowned on the inside — in fact, none of them had. I wasn't happy. I called immediately and left a message. They got right back to me, saying they'd be out to take care of the problem. That was two weeks ago and they've done nothing in spite of these calls."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like the job properly completed: Crown the exposed posts."

Rain delay
COMPLAINT: Adam Kortepeter, Ewing, N.J.
"I began to experience roof leakage after a heavy rain. I called Trenton Roofing & Siding and left a message requesting warranty repair — they completed the original roofing job in 1998, with a 10-year warranty on workmanship and 25-year warranty on shingles. Our sunroom carpet was soaked and there were brown spots in the ceiling above the nursery and stairway. The next day, a representative inspected the problem and said someone would call me and schedule an appointment. I've received no calls, nor has any work been done to my knowledge."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like Trenton Roofing to contact me and perform repairs as requested under the terms of the warranty."
STATUS: Resolved
