plant problems
COMPLAINT: Judy Bryan, Mead
"Ludington Landscapes did my landscaping a year ago. Within the year, a shrub died, and they replaced it. That same shrub died, and I've been trying to get them to replace it. I've been trying to get a hold of them for a month, and they won't call back."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "Instead of a replacement, I'd like my money back."
RESPONSE: Judith Ludington, owner, Ludington Landscapes "We'd already replaced the plant, so we lived up to our warranty. We did the job in two phases because the first time, she wanted to plant her own plants. The member wanted a tree instead of a second plant. We agreed to the tree and that [the member] would pay the difference. We designate a weekend or day to do service work, so we told her we'd change her plant out [then].
She called over a holiday weekend, calling three times in one day. Her messages escalated to nasty. Unfortunately, we were out of state on vacation. When she first called, her warranty had expired, but we were willing to work with her and extend it. We'll make sure she gets her plant delivered to her front door, even if the warranty is expired."
