"I hired J & J Hardwood Flooring to refinish hardwood floors and stairs. The first floor came out quite well, but the second floor didn't. It has many splinters and several spots where I was told boards would be replaced, but were filled with cheap filler.

"In one room, several floorboards were replaced, but the new boards look nothing like the existing floor. The real problem came after they left. I found an almost empty roll of paper towels on the back of the toilet. The next day, the washing machine backed up and nearly flooded the basement.

"I don't know if they ran out of toilet paper or cleaned up chemicals with paper towels and flushed, but Roto Rooter came and fished out a 5-gallon bucket full of clogged paper towels from my sewer line.

"When I brought this to the attention of J & J, I was strung along for several months with promises of reimbursement, excuses and then no response at all."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like to be reimbursed for the damage done to my sewer by this company."
