A crass act

"Class Act Cleaners cleaned my home weekly for a year and a half, during which they went from excellent to horrible. They're very irresponsible and unprofessional. I'd ask them to do specific things, and they'd say they'd get to it next week, and then never do it. They'd change the cleaning date without notice. I requested for four months that they thoroughly clean the shower, and they never completed the job. I'm disgusted and outraged."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like a $400 reimbursement or they can come back and clean the shower and refrigerator."

COMPLAINT: Virginia and Eric Mosier, Concord Township, Ohio

"We hired Howell Lawn Maintenance for fall leaf cleanup and snow plowing. They were supposed to plow every time it snowed more than 4 inches. They did it the first time but not the second. We complained and they came and did the end of the driveway.

"Two days later they still didn't plow our driveway. We decided to hire someone else and asked for a $200 refund out of the $255 we paid. They said it'd take four to six weeks. When we called to ask where the check was, they said they didn't owe us anything. They said they changed their minds."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "We need a $200 refund."
