Jeep Liberty at Spitzer Lakewood Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Inc.
Performed a recall repair on Beth Samargya's Jeep Liberty, which she says caused brake problems. First month in the box.
I picked up my Jeep, and after I drove one-fourth of a block, I noticed very loud sounds, steering problems and a rough ride.
One of the front tires was being held on by only one lug nut. The rest of the lug nuts were missing on that tire, and a back tire also was falling off.
I took it back. During the fix, they also machined something with the front brakes, and I now have brake problems.
I took it back again, and they told me my two-year-old rotors and brakes are old and that I should get them replaced. The rotors and brakes were fine before their screwup.
They said it's not their fault. This was my worst car experience ever."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like them to replace my brakes and rotors and to fix the pulsating at their cost."
STATUS: Penalty box
COMPLAINT: Garry Madis, Strongsville
"Acme Fence & Lumber Co. installed a fence around my backyard, including a gate. The salesman arrived as scheduled and gave me an estimate.
They installed the fence, and it turned out nice.
Less than six months after the installation, a post is causing closing issues with the gate.
I contacted the company numerous times requesting a repair. I'm always told they'll return my calls, but they never do."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like the post repaired so the gate operates properly."
STATUS: Resolved
