SpongeBob SquarePants is the star of the popular animated original Nickeolodeon television series. Halka-Peel says the rubber toy was about 4 inches tall and 2 to 3 inches wide. "B & A took the toilet [off the floor] and used a screwdriver to poke around for the toy," Halka-Peel says. "The toddler probably wanted SpongeBob to go for a swim."

He called me over when he discovered the issue with the clogged toilet, and it ended up being that a previous tenant's toddler threw a toy in it [I rent out a single-family home]. As he worked to extract the toy from the base of the toilet, he said, 'Look, a leg.' He said it was 'kind of like delivering a baby' and ended up 'delivering' SpongeBob from the toilet."
