Member comments "Dan [Corbett, the owner] didn't have the lowest estimate, but since I liked the examples of his work I decided to go with his company. He was right on time for the estimate and to do the work each day. The whole process took a portion of three days while each layer dried. Dan kept me informed about how long each process would take, when he would leave and when he would return. Then disaster struck. Before Dan was able to varnish the finished product, my cats decided to add some antiquing of their own to both doors of the island. Dan was a bit dismayed when he saw their handiwork but he was able to fix the damage. I have to say he does a much better job than my cats. The island is beautiful."
