Description of work: "I took a wall-mounted Westminster Chime clock to Bob [Piotrowski, the owner] that fell off the wall and had a broken pendulum. He fixed the clock while I waited."

Member comments: "I've used Bob for my clock repairs for 15 years. As always, he demonstrated great customer service at a good value. Bob's truly an outstanding horologist."

Piotrowski's been in the clock business almost 30 years. "I most certainly enjoy my job and teaching my clients all about their treasured timepieces," Piotrowski says. He recommends his clients bring in their clocks every three years for a "check-up" to keep them ticking. Horology is the art of measuring time. The ancient Babylonians started the science when they came up with the idea for the 60-second minutes and 60-minute hours we now use, according to the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
