Carpet Exchange of Golden resolves complaint


COMPLAINT: Will Fehringer, Golden

I paid Carpet Exchange of Golden to install carpet. Their first installation crew discovered they didn't have enough carpet for the room. The original order was correct, but a salesperson made a clerical error. They offered no form of customer service to remedy the mistake and left. They could have had someone quickly deliver the missing carpet to the installers on-site. Instead, hours later, a second crew had to start over. They didn't respect my time and made no effort to keep me informed. The installer did a good job, but Carpet Exchange failed to satisfy me as a customer. Plus, they charged an additional $300 over their estimate.

DESIRED RESOLUTION: A $50 refund would be reasonable.

STATUS: RESOLVED
