COMPLAINT: Leeann Lewis, Indianapolis
"I hired Bray Transportation to move an 8-by-11 storage building on my property. I paid them $550 in cash to move it, which was supposed to include moving the building off a trailer and onto a foundation.
"They moved it off of the trailer onto the ground and said they'd come back to move it onto the foundation at a later time. I called them for months, asking when they'd be back.
"They'd always give me a date and time, but wouldn't show. I even missed work on several occasions to wait for them.
"They acknowledged that they needed to come back, but never did. I ended up having to pay another company an additional $550 to complete the job.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want to be reimbursed the $550 I paid them and the $550 I paid someone else to finish the job, therefore $1,100."
STATUS: Penalty Box
