Broken sprinkler valves earn homeowner refund

COMPLAINT: Elizabeth Hinson

"Through a Big Deal, I hired G&L Design Building & Landscape Inc. of West Hills, Calif., to service my sprinkler system. Later, I found two broken sprinkler valves. The company said it would come out in a week, but the heavy water leakage led me to hire another company."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want G&L to honor its agreement to refund my original $60," Hinson says.

STATUS: Resolved
