Broken door and promises: Homeowner wages complaint

COMPLAINT: Adam Slagowski, Washington, D.C.

"I hired Zack Essarraj, doing business as AGS Glass Experts in Germantown, Md., to replace a glass shower door. He didn't show up when he promised the door would be complete. We rescheduled for the following week, but he didn't show up again. When I called, he said his brother had accidentally broken the door and another one would need to be made. He committed to another week to have the door made, but it's been several weeks and still no door. Zack answers the phone and provides new excuses and promises, but he never shows up. I don't trust him to complete the work properly or live up to any warranty after installation."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want a $475 refund."

STATUS: Penalty Box
