Znak, who’s not required to have a trade license, says communication is key.

“You have to communicate, whether it’s scheduling an appointment or telling customers how things are going,” Znak says. He’s won the Super Service Award two years in a row and six Pages of Happiness nominations.

Customers may choose green options for insulation and paints with low or no volatile organic compounds.

Angie’s List member Randy Beck says he hired CS Tree Services because they are highly rated and employ certified arborists. “They were eager to please and just really, really happy,” Beck says. “You can tell they love their job.”

Margaret Brackett appreciates receiving a copy of the company’s insurance policy before any work was started on her tree-pruning job.

Co-owner Chris Baley says safety is a top priority on every job. “If you’re not being safe, you can’t do a good job,” he says.

Baley and his partner Steve Kurtz, who are not required to have a trade license, donate mulched debris from jobs to local dog parks and residents.

The 2008 Super Service Award winner has six Pages of Happiness nominations this year.
