Although she's worked on both commercial and residential projects, painting a child's room is her favorite venture. "I was very grateful to have the opportunity to take their [the Rajagopal family] initial concept and create rooms for the children to enjoy," Payer says. "It was such a pleasure to work with the family." Jane Payer studied art at Tulane University before moving to Atlanta with her family and starting her painting career more than 16 years ago.

Description of work "Jane [Payer, the owner] painted murals in three children's bedrooms in my house. Two rooms were painted extensively, including every wall and the ceilings, and the nursery was painted 50 percent."

She created a 'pirate' room, a 'castle room' and a beautiful nursery for my home. Also, she was absolutely delightful to have in the house. She was quiet, clean and meticulous. She's capable of painting anything from the simple to the extravagant."
