Bryan’s Garage Door Solutions won the Angie's List Super Service Award in 2009, and six other times from 2002-08. Keith, who’s been in business 11 years, says being a one-man shop helps him keep the quality high.

Bryan Keith has worked with construction and mechanical things all his life: First by tinkering with lawn mower engines as a child, then summers working in his father's bricklaying business, followed by several years as a union laborer.
Now he puts that experience to use as owner and sole proprietor of Bryan's Garage Door Solutions, which services the Chicago suburbs.
The seven-time Super Service Award winner says basic customer service is key to keeping his clients happy.
"I treat people the way I'd like to be treated," Keith says. "People can call me anytime, even at 2 a.m. on a Sunday, and I'll always answer my phone within the first couple of rings if I'm not up on a ladder doing something."
Angie's List member Sandra Westergren praises Keith's honesty after hiring him for a door repair, then a new door and an opener.
"On any number of occasions, Bryan could have tried to sell me on additional expense before it was necessary, but instead always made the most economical suggestion to resolve the issue," Westergren says. "I have total faith in his integrity."
He says he'll work on any garage door job, but focuses on residential.
"I get the most satisfaction in going to somebody's home, helping them choose a door, tearing out their old and beat-up ones, and making their home look completely different with a new custom door."
Although the majority of his business involves pre-made doors, he's offered custom doors for three years now, which he builds by hand in his shop. But whether the door comes from him or the factory, he says he's dedicated to the work and backs it with a five-year parts and labor warranty.
"I'll stand behind and marry myself to that garage door," Keith says. "In almost 11 years of business, I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to return to fix a door that I've installed."
