Mechanics is just one of more than 300 service categories found on Angie’s List.
|
How Angie's List works:
1. As a member, sign in to AngiesList.com to find a highly rated service company.
2. Read detailed reports on specific service companies from other members in your area.
3. Make an informed hiring decision and report your own experiences.
Oh, and service companies can't self-report or buy their way onto the List. (We get that question a lot and dedicate an extraordinary amount of time and effort to prevent it.)
Angie's List members receive:
• Access to thousands of local reports across more than 300 service categories.
• Subscription to our award-winning Angie's List Magazine. • Penalty Box to see which companies aren't pulling their weight. • Complaint resolution should a problem arise with a company.
• Coupons from highly rated service companies.
• Discounts to local museums, concerts and sporting events.

Cost: $2,500
Description of Work: Rear right bumper and panel replaced on my 2005 Honda Odyssey.
Member Comments: I had a very nice surprise when I went back to pick up my car. Inside, on my seat, they left me a round tin of cookies and a little note thanking me for my business. I felt very appreciated as a customer, and the work they did on my car was great too!

Price: A
Quality: A
Responsiveness: B
Punctuality: B
Professionalism: C
Cost: $4,000
Description of Work: Repaired front left end of 2000 VW Jetta, including replacement of headlight, grill, fender, more.
Member Comments: The repairs went very well, except that four items were stolen from my car: iPod, floormats, Illinois I-Pass transponder and ice scraper. Very disappointing end to an otherwise great experience. They did give me a $40 check to cover the iPod, but gave me nothing else in response to the other missing items.
